SlimPrep Mentor Matching Terms of Service

You ("Mentor") agree to the following terms and conditions for participating as a mentor on SlimPrep's mentorship matching platform:
1. Purpose:
You understand that SlimPrep operates a platform designed to match mentors with mentees based on various criteria. You are not expected to provide direct resume writing services.
2. Information Sharing:
You agree that SlimPrep may share your profile information, including but not limited to your name, professional background, areas of expertise, and contact details, with potential mentees who are matched with you through our platform.
3. Mentorship:
If matched, you agree to provide mentorship, guidance, and support to mentees in your area of expertise. This may include career advice, industry insights, and professional development guidance.
4. Professionalism:
You will maintain a professional and supportive demeanor in all interactions with mentees.
5. Compensation:
- For free mentorship: You agree to provide mentorship on a voluntary basis with no monetary compensation.
- For paid mentorship: You set your own rates, which will be displayed on your profile. SlimPrep will facilitate introductions between you and potential mentees, but any financial arrangements are to be made directly between you and the mentee.
6. Term:
This agreement is effective upon your acceptance and continues until terminated by either party. SlimPrep reserves the right to terminate this agreement immediately for breach of terms or misconduct.
7. Confidentiality:
You agree to maintain the confidentiality of all mentee information and SlimPrep proprietary information encountered during your mentorship activities.
8. Quality Control:
SlimPrep may review the quality of your mentorship and provide feedback. You agree to maintain a minimum satisfaction rating based on mentee feedback.
9. Independent Relationship:
You acknowledge that you are an independent mentor and not an employee of SlimPrep. SlimPrep's role is limited to facilitating matches between mentors and mentees.
10. Liability:
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SlimPrep from any claims arising from your actions or advice given to mentees. SlimPrep is not responsible for the outcomes of mentorship relationships.
11. Modifications:
SlimPrep may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
12. Governing Law:
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada..
